United Church Women (UCW)
Any woman "willing to contribute her prayers, gifts, and services for the work of the Church" may join the United Church Women (UCW) group at Wellington United. The UCW meets monthly from September to June on the first Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. for fellowship and project planning. They hold several fundraising activities supporting Wellington United Church, the Mission and Service Fund, and local charities such as Alternatives for Women and the Wellington and District Storehouse Foodbank. Even if unable to attend meetings, there are always opportunities to help with UCW activities.
